Project Description
Schetter Electric was selected as the Design-Build contractor for this high end, fast pace, tenant improvement project consisting of open offices, video- conference rooms, collaborative/open spaces and break rooms. Schetter Electric’s Design and Project Management Team played an integral part in the design build process with the Owner, Architect and General Contractor. Our project team attended weekly construction collaboration meetings throughout the job to ensure that any real time impacts were discussed and resolved promptly so as not to impact the project schedule. This lead to improving the work sequencing and minimizing additional costs for all trades.
Due to the fast pace nature of the project, design changes were constantly occurring throughout the job. Schetter’s team was quick to relay all changes to the field to adjust our construction and guarantee that this 2 Floor renovation was completed in less than six months timeframe. SEI’s team worked directly with Stantec Architecture in the selection of fixtures throughout the space; taking into account Value Engineering opportunities as well as lead times and the overall design continuity.
