Project Description
Sandy Turner Education Center II is a single story, four classroom educational and vocational center located within the Santa Rita jail facility. With the increasing need for education and training for inmates, the Alameda County Sheriff secured funding for a new educational building. The primary purpose of this state of the art facility is to expand inmate education offerings to include vocational programs in the major building trades with an emphasis on hands-on training.
