7th & H Street Housing Community

Schetter Electric, Inc. furnished and installed the electrical for the 7th & H Street Housing Community. The 7th & H St apartments and mixed-use building is a new ground up eight story, 117,000 square foot mid-rise, post tensioned concrete building.

The building is located in the heart of downtown Sacramento. With its opening December 2012 the 7th & H Street blocks were completely transformed. The building consists of 150 low income residential units, a ground level café, retail, and a clinic for residential use as part of a comprehensive wellness program. The roof boasts a dramatic solar panel array that will provide energy to heat and power the building, making this a truly green building reducing its ecological carbon footprint.
