Project Description

A level II Trauma Center in California, NorthBay Medical Center project was a modernization program located on a 26-acre campus in and around an existing operating hospital with four Operating Rooms, Medical Office Building, Central Plant, Emergency Department, Helicopter Pad and Annex Administrative Buildings. This project encompassed overhead public utility line relocation to underground, as well as oxygen line and alarm relocation, Data Center relocation, connection to new public utility infrastructure, parking lot and site loop road expansion. An addition of a second generator, new paralleling gear, automatic transfer switches and supporting electrical infrastructure. A 4,500sqft single story pavilion building addition, expansion of a 77,000 sqft building with four elevators, new Imaging Department including a four bed Holding Station, seven new Imaging Suites, Central Sterile Services Department, Dietary Services, Kitchen, Server and Dining Room, eight Operating Rooms (1hybrid, 1 trauma, 1 CVOR, 1 general OR, 1 Neuro, 1 Davinci) a 16 bed PACU unit, two acuity adaptable 11 bed Nursing Units with two additional Surgical Procedure Rooms. An 8,000 sqft Emergency Department expansion and 10,000 sqft remodel to provide 23 Treatment Rooms including three Trauma / Cardiac Rooms, four Observation Rooms, a CT Imaging Room and new and interim Ambulance Entrances.
