South Placer County Adult Correctional Facility
Roseville

The South Placer Adult Correctional Facility (SPACF) is a projected LEED Silver Level project that will house approximately 330 inmates and includes administration, staff support, visiting, intake, booking, inmate housing, program space, medical/mental health housing and services, transportation, and security control, food services, and laundry as well as minimum security housing in an adjacent structure and a tunnel that will connect the main jail to the existing justice center.

The construction team is using BIM (Building Information Modeling) to coordinate building prior to field installation to minimize changes in construction by identifying potential conflicts. The construction team is also using Trimble (an advanced positioning solution that uses lasers, GPS, optical and inertial technologies with application software, and wireless communications) to allow pin point device, component, and conduit locations decreasing layout time and correct placement.
